I'm not dead!
Just incredibly busy again. Who knew having a birthday would cause so many problems?!
Well, at least nothing has gone drastically wrong this year, which is always a big plus.
I'm quite excited about becoming 18. It's such a milestone! Although, I don't think it'll feel much different from being 17. Or maybe it will. Maybe I just won't notice the change in myself.
At least my fandoms haven't changed. I actually organised my driving lesson around Bump of Chicken's livetalk. I had to log on, even though my Japanese isn't good enough to really understand what's happening. My friend and a friend of my parents are going to Japan soon, and I've asked them to bring back a BoC album each for me! I hope they can find them. If not, I guess it's onto Yesasia!
I've been doing a lot of cosplaying at the moment. The group of people I've been hanging around with recently are really into it, and it's a lot of fun. We even went to Ness Botanical Gardens in cosplay to take some pictures. They turned out really well, and we got some brilliant shots.
On top of all this, I've got a driving test booked for the end of November, so wish me luck everyone!
oh, PS - if anyone finds a way of downloading the BoC video HERE and so can send it to me, I will love them very very much. Damn Yahoo and their playlistness.

Anyways, had school today *dies a million times over* year 7's are really weird... basically, we were in the atrium at lunchtime, and it was really quiet. There was only 2 tables of sixth formers (me and my year 12 friends, and the other table of my year 13 friends).
Anyways, these year 7's came in and were like "are we allowed in here?" and we were like "yeah..." and then they went and stood outside the atrim looking really lost and a bit scared. So, being the nice person I am, I went out and asked them if they were okay, and then invited them in, since they probably wouldn't without someone saying "come in!" So they came in.
Then, after lunch, we were heading out the atrium cause the bell had just gone, and these kiddies go to me "excuse me, has the bell just gone?" and I was like "yeah, but it's only the first bell so you're not late" and they bounded out the atrium too. Then, they go "we know our way from here!" sounding really proud of this (it's quite a feat, the layout of our school is rather stupid) and I'm like "really? That's good! I got lost so many times when I started" and then the kiddies asked me what my name was, and I was like "I'm Hester" and they were all "Now we're friends!!!" and I just laughed and went upstairs.
But then...
THEY CAME BACK!
No, seriously. 10 minutes later I was back in the atrium cause I had a free, and they walked past the atrium and waved at me like crazy people. I waved too because I'm not rude.
Then, they came in and one of them goes "I told all my friends about you!!" and I just laughed and said "thanks" and they left. My friends, thinking I was being my usual pervy self, were like "what were they telling their friends about, heyyyy?!" and I'm all "Nooo, they just adopted me~ nothing dirty~" and they didn't really believe me, but whatever.
THEN THEY CAME BACK AGAIN!
They walked back the way they'd come so they came past the atrium again, and waved manically at me again!
I'm just too popular for my own good sometimes.

Went back to school on Wednesday (5th), and it's not too bad. I've dropped physics so I can BREATHE again.
I also seem to have a free period every day on 2nd period. Weird how that worked out...
I start my new job at Gordales garden centre on Saturday (tomorrow). I'm still working at Brook Meadow hotel though. Gonna work at Brook Meadow on Sundays and Gordales on Saturdays.
Next week is Midlands Expo~~ w00t!! I can't waittt! So excitinggg *flails madly* HESSYBUNS NEEDS HER ANIME FIX!!

On a little update, I'M DEAF.
Okay, half deaf. I'm deaf in one ear. I dunno why, it just came on a couple of days ago and WON'T GO AWAY. So I can't hear very well.
I MISS LISTENING TO MUSIC IN THE CAR. I MISS LISTENING TO MUSIC ON HEADPHONES. I MISS LISTENING TO MUSIC IN GENERAL!!!
No, that's a lie. I can actually hear music. Just weird pitches, so it all sounds tinny and crap. I can't hear harmonies so well. Anyways, I hope it clears up soon.
I WANT MY MUSIC BACK. I also want to hold the phone on my right side. I'm right-handed, you know!!!
I went to Kayla's house today, it was FUN! We played wii, and Hessy got competitive *blush* waaaay too competitive... but we made a mii, that was based on me. It was later referred to as... the midget *shamed* yeah, so my mii is a midget. I'm not a midget, I'm vertically challenged!!

26 DAYS until the Midlands MCM Expo.
Change the words on my icon from "Hyde's cuteness" to "Short notice costume".
I'm supposed to be going as Princess Garnet from FFIX, but the big question is... can Hester finish this costume in time?
So far, I've completed exactly 0 aspects of this costume. But in my defence, I wasn't invited until a few days ago.
Anyways, someone else is making the crown so that'll be finished in time. I just have to make the dress, the sleeve thingies, the hard arm thingies, the necklace, and then I'm done. I'm cheating a little too, since I can't find a big crystal. I'm just doing the necklace she wears at the very beginning.
Did I mention I can't sew?
However, I've only really got 24 days since I can't work on it tomorrow since I'm doing two shifts at work and have an interview in between, and I can't work on Saturday because my friend invited me over. Phew!
And then if we consider that most of September leading up to that date I'm in school... how am I going to pull this off?
Where there's a will, there's a way! Wish me luck!

We're just starting out, so we need a few things. I've cleverly disguised this as a competition~ you don't have to be a member to join in the competition fun!
1. Layout - H.A.T.E U needs a suitable layout!
2. Icons - 100 x 100
3. Link Banners - the longest side should be about 200pix, but they can be smaller
Get those creeative juices flowing!

Abingdon is flooded. I dunno if the boys school is flooded though. Everywhere is getting flooded. My true hometown, Reading, is flooded. At the moment, I'm not flooded. I don't think we can flood here, but we're not 100% sure. I'm pretty sure we're going to be okay though.
I have false nails on! It's so hard to type with them on but I'm getting used to them. They're really cute! They have a little flower and crescent moon (or crescent moon shaped petal?) on each nail (♥__♥)
I went shopping today and bought some clothes and shoes. Pics possibly coming later when I can find my bluetooth dongle.
When shopping, I went with my sister and we had lunch at this new Indian restaurant. It was REALLY good! We enjoyed it so much. Really good food and it's not super expensive either! I'm going again when I can!

School holidays begin today, so hopefully I'll be able to be online a lot more~! I know you're all really pleased~
Bit of drama this morning with the year 7s... basically, some girls got in a fight, then the fight got physical in a lesson (our students are getting cocky...), and then of course the WHOLE class got upset, and CHAOS. So, the first wave of sixth formers, led by Dionne, went on babysitting duty. The second wave of sixth formers was required to make the kiddies some tea/coffee and get some biscuits. The tea squad was me, Nada Oof, Alice and Kirsty. We worked hard! Aaaand the school owes me £5, but whatever. I feel bad for all of them cause they were so upset... poor kiddies...
Hmmm.. what else? I've been tidying up my computer today. I managed to clear 7GB up just through one file (-_-#) I'll do the rest later on.
And, finally, I was ill, but now I'm getting better. Although, I can't stop coughing, which sucks. I took some cough medicine. It was gross. It smelt like nail polish remover, tasted like it too, made the inside of my mouth burn like crazy, and STILL didn't stop me from coughing!
Hiatus over~ expect comments from me turning up in the next few days.
